My name is Sophia Shettler
I am an Interior Designer in Southwest Michigan with expertise in inclusive design, furniture, and space planning. I also have a passion for education, travel, and architecture.
After focusing on this topic for an entire year, I have discovered new ways to create inclusive spaces using exclusive design strategies. While this may seem contradictory, a closer look at my Capstone project will help you understand how it works.
Working as a manufacturer's representative has given me a deeper understanding of not only the entire interior design industry but also commercial furniture. Knowledge of the vast range of commercial furniture offerings enables quicker and more thorough design solutions.
Dedicating a large portion of time to getting the floor plan right is one of the most important parts of the design process. Whether it's the layout of an office or a coffee shop, every space needs proper planning to operate efficiently and look aesthetically pleasing.
